Something About Water
by Penny Matthews
Illustrator: Tom Jellett
Malvern, S. Aust. : Omnibus Books,2009
1 v. (unpaged) : col.ill. : 28cm.

A young lad with a quirky sense of humour learns about water from his teacher, his Granny and his Mum. He discovers there is water in everything and that the earth has been recycling it's water for millions of years. He learns that water is precious and the small things we can all do to save water can make a big difference.
Lots of interesting watery facts are interspersed throughout the story.
The illustrations cover a wide range of styles and a mix of biro, pencil, water colour and pastel is used very effectively. The main story is in comic stip format.
